The Scene for December 4, 2015

Now that we’ve transitioned into The Holiday Season, things are really cooking across South Florida. 
 
It’s your last chance to see the Slow Burn production of Dogfight, which moved from the Broward Center to the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center.  And speaking of shows you might have missed, Island City Stage has revived its smash hit Daniel’s Husband at the West Boca Theatre Company.
 
Two productions flying by this weekend: Mad Cat’s take on The Point, and the Arts Radio Network version of It’s A Wonderful Life.

Actors’ Playhouse opens its production of The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, through December 27, 2015.
Billy Elliot: The Musical opens at The Maltz Jupiter Theatre.  Through December 20.
 
Palm Beach Dramaworks opens The History Boys, through January 3.
 
West Boca Theatre Company presents the revival of the  Island City Stage Production of Daniel’s Husband, through December 20.  This show had everyone raving back in June.

Mad Cat Theatre Company opens its production of Harry Nilsson’s The Point at the Miami Theater Center, this weekend only.
 
Arts Radio Network brings It’s a Wonderful Life to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts: it’s the story you know from the movie, done as a radio play.
