actually so you know...YES he DID have the rights before we did...we received the rights for a later date in the year...we did not know joe had the rights when we applied for them and they issued us the rights as well...once we lost an actor in akimbo and we moved the show to an eariler slot then we had originally planned...we received permission from samuel french to make the date change...it was after this that he called sam french and had them pulled...this was also one one week before our scheduled auditions...here is a copy of the email we received from samuel french:

Joe had the rights for Speed the Plow a long time before Promethean did. Joe did nothing wrong as far as Speed the Plow goes. Check your sources Chris.
