The Scene for February 27, 2015

You may have noticed that we’ve missed posting The Scene for the last couple of weeks; we’ve been fighting a monster cold here at the Theatre Scene, and it’s been tough to get anything done.  We apologize for the gap.
But while we’ve been guzzling chicken soup and chugging tea with lemon, the scene has churned along.  We hope to catch up reviews over the next few days.

Slow Burn Theater Company opens its co-production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in the intimate Adbo New River Room –  and come hungry to this dinner theater.
The Boca Raton Theatre Guild opens Tuesdays with Morrie at the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sands Park.
 
Florida Grand Opera offers The Pearl Fishers at the Arsht Center through March 7.
