The Scene for July 9, 2010.

I don't know about you, but the summer seems to be flying by for me.  Lots of good things going on; including the birth of a new theater company.  Exciting stuff!

Babalu celebrates the music of Desi Arnaz at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts through Sunday, July 11.  Starring Lucie Arnaz, with guests Raul Esparza, and Valarie Pettiford, and dancers Jeanette Delgado and Richard Amaro and very special guest Desi Arnaz, Jr.

Trivia point: while Raul Esparza and Lucy Arnaz are obviously no strangers to South Florida stages, Desi Arnaz Jr. has appeared in a musical in South Florida.  Can anyone name the show and the theatre?
