The Scene for April 6, 2012

We're almost recovered from the Carbonells after-party.  We've only heard one party kvetching about who did and didn't win, and frankly, no one cares.  Everyone who was nominated deserved recognition, but there's only one statue for each category.

We would like to apologize to Avi Hoffman for our "helpful" shortcut, offered over drinks at The Green Room; we were unaware that the state of Maryland decided to tear up long stretches of US 301.  Best of luck with Jacque Brels Returns; we wish we could see it.  And if you're planning on making the trip to catch the show, stay on I-95.

Here's the scene for this week-
