The Scene for February 11, 2011

We still haven't got the hang of February, here at The Scene.  Still lagging a bit behind. Sorry.

Lots of shows closing this week; and it's entirely possible Shiksa has already closed - it doesn't seem to be listed on the Area Stage website. It's hard to tell, it's a real mess.  Hey, John, I love you, but your website is dismal.  Slow to load, and difficult to navigate, and it doesn't really tell us anything about what's onstage or about to be onstage.  It's your face to the world, you really need to clean it up.  Just sayin'.

Anywho, here's what's playing this weekend:

The Irish Curse opens to an almost sold-out weekend at The Mosaic Theatre.  It plays through march 6.

  1. I saw columbinus this weekend and it was absolutely amazing however it is definitely not a children's show. It contains mature content and is for mature audiences only. With that being said, I definitely recommend seeing this show because it is an amazing story that needs to be told and the actors tell the story very well.

  2. Thanks for the input! I've moved the listing accordingly.

A lot of South Florida actors worked at the previous incarnation of Actors' Rep at one time or another. It's good to see that the tradition continues.
