The Scene for November 9, 2012.

The season is rushing in on us; we've held elections, selected leadership, and it's off to Thanksgiving!  It's nice that we've got this little cool snap to help us grasp the time of year.  Of course, the folks that just got walloped by Tropical Storm Sandy now have a blizzard burying them - and many are still without power.  Keep them in your prayers.

If you're in a mood to attend a fundraiser instead of a performance, join Outré Theatre Company at The Manor Complex in Wilton Manors for A Wild Wild Party: A Roaring 20s Costume Ball on Friday.

The Naked Stage presents what it's now calling The Naked Stage's Theatre Project 2012 at Gablestage, this Monday, November 12 at 8pm.  Not sure why they're changing the name.  They've built up a brand name for the 24 Hour Theatre Festival; ya don't change horses mid-stream, yaknowhatI'msayin?  Just sayin'.

Here's what's happening this week on The Scene:

Worth the trip. Promise.
