The South Florida Theatre League’s Summerfest Play Reading Series is moving right along.  Every Monday now through August 31, there is a free reading of an original play written by a local playwright at one of the member theaters.  This Monday, Storycrafter Studio presents Fortuna's Ire at the Luna Star Cafe.

Slow Burn Theatre Company presents Little Shop of Horrors, their last production at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater, through June 28, 2015.
         
City Theatre presents Summer Shorts 20 at the Arsht Center through June 28, 2015.
GableStage presents Harvey Fierstein’s Casa Valentina through June 28, 2015.
 
Island City Stage presents the world premiere of Daniel’s Husband, a stunning new play by Michael McKeever, at Empire Stage through June 28 has been extended through July 5th, with an additional performance on June 24th.
  
New Theatre presents Leveling Up, a new play by Deborah Zoe Laufer, at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center through June 21, 2015.
 
The Broward Stage Door Theater presents Bell, Book and Candle through June 21.

Broward Stage Door Theatre also presents Sisters of Swing, through July 12.
    
MicroTheatre Miami is running three plays in English and four plays in Spanish on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through June 27.  Check it out: you can choose which plays you see, and you only pay for the ones you choose.  It's a sweet deal, and a great night out.
