The Scene for October 30, 2015

It’s Halloween Weekend here in South Florida.  And if you’re looking for approprieately themed plays, we suggest The Toxic Avenger at Actors’ Playhouse, The Rocking Dead at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts,  Young Frankenstein at The Crest Theatre, and Bloody Broadway: a Spook-tacular Music Revue at Andrews Living Arts Studios.
It’s your last chance to check out the GableStage production of Disgraced, if you haven’t seen it, do it now.

The Theatre at Arts Garage opens  Sex With Strangers, through November 15; this is the first offering from their new producers.
Maltz Jupiter Theater opens The Mousetrap for a very brief run through next weekend, playing against its history as the world’s longest running play.
Broward Stage Door opens Dial ‘M’ for Murder, through December 6, 2015

Actors’ Playhouse presents The Toxic Avenger at the Miracle Theater through November 8, 2015.
Andrews Living Arts Studio offers Bloody Broadway: a Spook-tacular Music Revue through November 15.
Palm Beach DramaWorks presents its production of Picnic through November 8, 2015.
MicroTheatre Miami is running three plays in English and four plays in Spanish on Thursdays.  Check it out: you can choose which plays you see, and you only pay for the ones you choose.  It's a sweet deal, and a great night out.
