Bill Joins the Blogosphere

Good news for South Florida theatre!  Lawrence A. Johnson, who created and maintains South Florida Classical Review, a weblog dedicated to classical music, is adding a sister site, South Florida Theater Review. 

Bill Hirschman will be the lead critic for the new website, which will cover the theater scene in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties with the same candor, insight, and comprehensiveness that South Florida Classical Review has brought to the music scene.

We've included SFCR in the "Other Performing Arts" category since its debut two years ago.  And we're looking forward to including SFTR starting in July.  There's been a tremendous gap in coverage since the Sun-Sentinel started sending its fashion editor to see plays.
